2. Use of the website

You agree to use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, interfere with its operation, send automated traffic, submit forms in bad faith, or use the website to harass any person.

3. Quote requests

Quotes and estimates provided through the website, by phone, by email, or on site are based on the information available at the time. A quote is not a binding contract. We may revise a quote if any of the following come to light:

• Hidden damage discovered during inspection or work (for example, rotten decking, soft sheathing, or compromised structure).
• Access limitations affecting safety, equipment, or the time needed to complete the work.
• Scope changes you request before or during the project.
• Material price changes outside our control between quote and start date.
• Weather delays, building code issues, or permitting requirements specific to the property.

Any change to the original scope will be confirmed with you in writing before the additional work is carried out.

4. Service agreement

Once you accept a written quote, that quote together with these Terms forms the agreement between you and Roofers Toronto. The accepted quote sets out the scope of work, materials, price, payment terms, and any specific conditions for your project.

5. Scheduling, deposits, and payment

• Scheduling: Start dates are confirmed in writing and are subject to weather, material availability, and safe site conditions.
• Deposits: A deposit may be required to confirm a start date or to order specific materials. The amount is set out in your quote.
• Payment: The balance is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept e-transfer, cheque, and credit card. Prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Late payment: Overdue invoices may be subject to interest at the rate permitted under Ontario law.

6. Cancellation

Under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, you may cancel a direct consumer agreement made away from our place of business within 10 days of receiving the written agreement. To cancel, send written notice to info@rooferstoronto.ca or to 333 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto, ON M4P 1L7. Deposits paid for specific materials already ordered or fabricated may be non-refundable, and this will be made clear in your quote.

7. Safety, access, and site conditions

Roofing work depends on safe access and reasonable weather. We may pause work and reschedule if conditions are unsafe, including high winds, lightning, freezing rain, ice cover, or any situation that puts the crew, property, or occupants at risk. You agree to provide reasonable access to the property and to keep children and pets away from active work areas during the project.

8. Warranty

We provide a written workmanship warranty on completed roofing work. The exact warranty term, coverage, and exclusions are set out in your quote and final invoice. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are passed through to you. The warranty does not cover damage caused by storm events, fallen trees, third-party work, lack of maintenance, structural movement, or modifications made by anyone other than Roofers Toronto.

9. Insurance

Roofers Toronto carries Commercial General Liability insurance and WSIB coverage for our crews. Proof of insurance is available on request before work begins.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the website, a quote, or completed roofing work is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of profit, or loss of business. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited under Ontario law.

11. Photographs and project documentation

We may take photos and video of your roof and completed work for our internal records, warranty documentation, and marketing material such as our project gallery. We do not publish your name, address, or any personal information alongside these photos without your consent. If you do not want photos of your project used for marketing, let us know before the work begins.

12. Intellectual property

All text, images, logos, graphics, and code on the website are owned by Roofers Toronto or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any part of the website for commercial purposes without our written permission.

13. Third-party links and services

The website may link to or use services provided by third parties, including review platforms, mapping providers, and social media. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites and services.

14. Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page and takes effect on the date shown at the top. Continued use of the website or services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or our services will be brought in the courts of Ontario. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
